Hello, I have added a video page, to access it click on the video button next to home in the top ribbon panel just under the header, It has a couple of short videos made by my little brother Matt, I think they are very good, but then I am a bit biased... They also show how you can make anything look dramatic and scary if you put in the right music. You can post any comments regarding the videos here if you feel so inclined.

When I first read the book, I wondered why, they must be crazy, then I watched the videos and saw the outstanding scenery, this answered the question. We have a lot in common, I am a retired merchant navy officer, Cadet to Master, brought up on Arthur Ransome, the reason I went to sea, I owned a Bruce Roberts 34 (GRP), its tender was a Tinker Tramp, the yacht was fitted with a Taylor heater and in my case a Taylor stove fed my a paraffin stove, fed by a single pressurized tank, no GPS, it was before GPS. Sailed single-handed UK (Devon & Cornwall), Spain and Portugal. I have also read all the kids books.
ReplyDeleteMy Tinker Tramp, had centre board, mast, sails. One sat in the bottom to sail it.
ReplyDeleteI last saw the Yacht (Morvoren) departing Gibraltar for NZ and Aus, not heard from them since, although he promised to keep in touch. Have you come across a yacht of that name?
